Corrosion Inhibitors

Description

Corrosion is the process by which metals lose their metallic properties as a result of chemical, physical, and electrochemical reactions with water. The effects of corrosion may not be noticeable in a short period, but over time, the damage caused becomes clearly visible. Corrosion in steam boiler metals may lead to the need for replacement of pipes, fireboxes, and end plates.
This is an organic product that prevents corrosion by forming a protective film layer on metal surfaces inside the boiler. As it disperses in both liquid and gas phases, it also protects steam and condensate lines. It stabilizes and disperses hardness and deposits in the boiler, preventing sediment formation.
