Condensate and Steam Line Protector

Description

In steam and condensate lines, as well as in steam generator systems, the water used contains dissolved oxygen and carbon dioxide. These dissolved gases may enter the system either through the feedwater used to replace the blowdown water or by diffusing from system components.
These dissolved gases react with system parts, causing corrosion. If left uncontrolled, this can result in costly repairs or replacements due to perforation and structural failure.
ST-I series chemicals react with dissolved gases in the water, converting them into inert compounds and protecting the system components.
