Metal Remover
Description
Since the amount of heavy metals mixed into natural environments with wastewater poses a serious threat to natural water resources, limits have been set for heavy metals in wastewater treatment plants. Since chemicals such as classical flocculants and coagulants used to provide sedimentation in wastewater treatment plants only react with suspended solids, different solutions are required for the removal of heavy metal ions that can be found in dissolved form. Organic metal precipitants function to convert dissolved metal ions into structures that cannot be dissolved in water, and then the process is supported with known coagulants and flocculants, and heavy metal removal can be achieved.
